What can I see and do at the Lopez Island Historical Museum?

This intimate Museum offers a delightful glimpse into the historical figures and conditions of the Island. See hundreds of photos and chat with the knowledgeable staff about their extensive archives. Discover the current exhibit, focused on one part of the Island’s history. See antique boats, tractors and trailers all of which are artifacts of historic Island livelihoods.

Where is the Lopez Island Historical Museum?

The small wooden building which houses the Museum is located in Lopez Village. It’s easy to spot with its distinctive wooden sign right at the corner of Washburn and Weeks Road.

When is the Lopez Island Historical Museum open?

The Museum is staffed entirely by volunteers and its hours vary seasonally. However these helpful volunteers will often open the Museum on request, so make sure to call ahead.

How much does the Lopez Island Historical Museum cost?

The museum is free but donations are welcomed.
