What can I see and do at Sportsmans Lake?

This 66 acre lake is kind of weedy and has huge patches of water plants along the shores. Which means it’s a great habitat for the bass that live there. The small grassy areas along the shore are often wet but can be a great place to relax on a warm summer day. The calm light brown water of the lake is great for an easy paddle. It is particularly beautiful in the evening when this lake is lit from the west.

Where is Sportsmans Lake?

The Lake is only about 3 miles from Friday Harbor. From town head northwest on Roche Harbor Road, which will pass right by the edge of the Lake. The boat launch is right along here although it can be hard to spot in the thick bushes around the Lake.
