What can I see and do at Mount Young?

Mount Young is across the street from English Camp. The trail curves through the woods along the north side of the hill before coming out onto the open grassy meadow at the top. From there you can see the Olympic Peninsula, Vancouver Island and islands to the north. The naturally terraced west side of Mount Young is a great place to picnic or explore.

Where is Mount Young?

From downtown Friday Harbor head out of town on Roche Harbor Road and take a left on West Valley Road, then just watch for signs. Mount Young is right across the street from English Camp. You can park along the road or at the larger parking lot at English Camp.

When is Mount Young open?

The trails are open for daytime use all year long. While you are here consider exploring the trails and beaches at nearby English Camp.
