What can I see and do at Mud Bay County Park?

Calm and protected Mud Bay is a great place for a paddle. You can easily launch your kayak here and if you can carry your motorboat you can launch it too. The small sandy beach is especially lovely in the evening. The wide mud flats of the bay are a great place to go clamming. Just be sure to get a license and make sure the tide is right.

Where is Mud Bay County Park?

The Park is off of Mud Bay Road at the end of Mud Bay Dock Road. From the Village head east of Hummel Lake Road, take a right on Center Road. This will change into Mud Bay Road. Mud Bay Dock Road will be to your left soon after the gas station. Be respectful of the nearby vacation homes and delicate marine ecosystem.

When is Mud Bay County Park open?

The Park is open for daytime use all year long. Parking is very limited so consider parking along the main road and walking to the beach.
