Cattle Point

Cattle Point is the southernmost tip of San Juan Island. Gaze out over the Strait of Juan de Fuca towards the Olympic Mountains from the base of the historic Lighthouse.

What can I see and do at Cattle Point?

The high grassy bank at Cattle Point is a great place for a picnic or to watch for wildlife. The views across the Strait to the Olympics are stunning. The rocky shore is also a good spot to fish or explore tide pools.

Where is Cattle Point?

To get here from downtown Friday Harbor take Mullis Road until it turns into Cattle Point Road and stay on it till you reach the point.

When is Cattle Point open?

The Park around the Lighthouse is open for daytime use all year long. The picnic tables, beach and parking lot are rarely crowded.
